A little Update

I secretly love the pregnancy attention and all the perks that go with it.
Preggo Updates:
This weeks favorite perks include daily back rubs (which are much needed!) and premium stork parking. I am proud to say I still don't have a single stretch mark on my body! However, half of my belly button is now poking out. I am wondering if the bottom half will ever make it out as well. It's a little funny looking and I don't like it sticking out at all! My least favorite thing right now is when Wes decides to kick my bladder and causes me public embarrassment. I have started doing Kegel exercises every day so we'll see if that's any help. My current craving is Thanksgiving dinner, specifically turkey and sweet potatoes. Don't worry I'm getting some tonight :) Have I ever mentioned that I love my mom's cooking?
One of the best things about being pregnant so far is getting to see how excited Kevin is to be a dad. He loves to talk to Weslie and give the belly lots of loves every day. It is so cute! My favorite part of the day is when Kevin finally gets to unwind. We get into our jammies and relax in bed or on the couch downstairs and just watch Wes kick. No one loves to feel her little kicks more than her dad. That's how our days usually end lately and I love it!

We are leaving for Utah in just one week! I'm not ready to go and readjust to everything again but there are lots of exciting things coming up. Fall is my favorite season and it's gorgeous in Utah so I'm looking forward to that coming up soon. As much as I love Texas and it's weather I was disappointed this summer with the lack of thunderstorms and record breaking heat this year. I'll miss the humidity but it'll be nice to get back to some cooler weather. I'm a little stressed out at the moment but I'm trying my best to just be grateful for all the blessings I do have and keep my focus on all the exciting things coming up very soon.

Today was our last appointment with Dr. Levino. I am sad to leave but glad that I have had such a healthy pregnancy and that Weslie is so healthy! That will make switching doctors so late a lot easier. We are just praying that we can find a great doctor and hospital that we like right away. It wasn't a very exciting appointment today. Just the usual drill: weight check, pee in the cup, check my blood pressure, get my prescriptions refilled and chat with the doc for a min. I'm pretty much a pro at the whole routine at this point! We are now on to appointments every 2 weeks so things are really going to start moving along! I am excited to hopefully get another ultrasound when we get to Utah and see how big the baby is. I feel like she has grown a ton!
