Soap Box Derby

Last weekend we went to the red bull soap box derby. It was the perfect weather for walking around outside. We saw some fast cars, some slow cars and even a good crash.

First Trip to the Zoo

Today was the first decent day in a long time- only getting up into the 80's so we took advantage and headed out to the zoo. Here's some photos from our adventure. The day's highlights were watching the monkeys swing around and jump right onto the fence in front of us, and also seeing the big gorilla. The zoo keeper called Patrick (the gorilla) over for feeding time. She yelled out, "Pat-rick" and Wes mimicked her tone and everybody giggled at her. We were right in front when he came over to get some food and Weslie was loving watching him. It was a nice day to get out and enjoy the fresh air and cooler weather. It was really fun. Kevin was even surprised at how much Weslie could actually see and enjoy the day. She is such a doll!

11 Big Months

Wes is approximately 19.5 lbs and 31 in.

She is always crossing her fingers.

I love being at home with her everyday. I have really been taking advantage of that time this month. I can't believe her first year is already just about done. I hope I'll always be able to be at home with her she is so fun.
