We are getting closer to meeting baby! This pregnancy has been so different, so I'm glad I am finally sitting down for a minute to document it. Even though we don't know the gender I have such a strong bond with this baby already. Baby kicks and rolls all the time for me, but gets shy whenever anyone else wants to feel. Baby is healthy and has the cutest profile.
The pregnancy started off rough but the horrible smells that always plague me went away after the first trimester for the most part. I am still throwing up once a week (I definitely throw up a LOT more this pregnancy) but I actually feel better afterwards. With the other pregnancies I was literally nauseas all the time, even after throwing up. That was miserable. Maybe that's why I have enjoyed this pregnancy so much more. I have craved healthier foods and since my iron is so low I can eat as many steaks and burgers as I want! My energy levels have been low because of the iron and I have had a few bad nights with restless leg syndrome but other than that I have felt pretty great and slept pretty great too! Based on how different this has been I would guess that baby is a boy, but we will just be happy just to have a healthy baby here with us. I have had no expectations or stress from any ownership and I think that has made the majority of this pregnancy fly by. I bought a new boy and girl outfit for the hospital and a couple blue things just in case.
Everyone is really excited to meet baby. I think they are at such good ages to be adding another one.
