Utah Baby Shower
Birthday/Anniversary Date
This week I turned the big TWENTY-ONE. Woo! Since baby Smith is due right before our anniversary we decided to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday together. I'd say it was a pretty successful weekend date.
Kevin and I started the day out with a couples massage. It felt so good to relax and get pampered. My lower back has been killing me the last few days! I know Kevin really needed some knots worked out too! I especially loved getting to lay on my tummy again on the huge pillow :) After our massages we headed over to Prime Steak for a delicious meal. We completely gorged ourselves. Then it was off to a nice condo in Park City where we stayed the night. It even had a steam shower and jetted bathtub.
I'm really glad we were able to get away and have such a fun little weekend together. As excited as we are to have our family grow, it was nice to take some time to enjoy the last few quiet moments we have as just "us". In the upcoming years while our family and responsibilities grow I hope there will always still be time like this for just the two of us.

I'm Ready to POP
Thanks Tiffany for taking these pictures for us! If anyone could make me look good while I'm as big as a house it's you! I'm so glad Kevin and I were able to get a few pics together during this special time.

For the grandma's and Madi
Someone wanted to say hello! It's a little noisy in the background because of the rain and windshield wipers, sorry!

I am going to be a mom very soon
Only 2 weeks until I'm full term and 5 weeks until my due date! Let the countdown begin! This week has been pretty productive. We got settled back in Heber and Kevin started school again. The first thing Kevin wanted to unpack when we got back here was all the baby stuff. I've never seen anyone so excited to setup a pack and play before. I think getting things setup has really been a reality check for both of us and we are so excited! We also went and had our hospital tour. I really like the hospital and I am feeling much better about things now. It was fun to get a dry run of how things are going to go down on the big day. Today we had our first appointment with doctor Rees. I'm glad to say he will be my doctor for the rest of the pregnancy. What a relief!
Now that the big day is really starting to get close I am having, "Holy crap this baby is coming really soon" moments almost every day. I don't feel like I have everything I need yet. After my baby shower in a few weeks I'll be able to get the rest of the things we need and hopefully the freak out moments will go away. I guess you're never really ready though. Other than trying to get things ready and satisfy my nesting needs I can't really complain too much. So far retirement has been great. We are going to have lots of fun Weslie and I.
