This is one of my favorite ages. I love all the cooing and smiling. The girls are starting to figure out how to control their limbs a little bit and they are almost to bumbo status with their head control. Remi loves to kick her little legs and they both throw punches at each other. Sophie loves to be close when she's upset and Remi is the comfort eater. They don't seem to be too aware of each others presence yet. We all caught a bit of a cold this last couple weeks but they handled their stuffy noses like champs and hardly fussed at all. Weslie has warmed up to the girls a lot. She doesn't like holding them every day but I think that's more because she's always too busy to slow down for anything. Speaking of Weslie, she has taken on some new responsibilities recently like putting her dish in the sink and clothes in the hamper. It's been really good for her. She loves helping and always feels so proud when she does big girl things. She has a mind of her own. She knows exactly what she wants to watch, read, eat, whether she wants a shower or bath etc. She loves it when I play with her Peppa pig figurines with her. She's too cute to resist when she says, "Do you wanna play? Okay come on!"
