Grandpa Grape
Last Saturday we buried a great man. My grandpa grape was 83 when he finally went to see his dark eyed beauty again. I have so much love and respect for this man and so much gratitude for the close family that he built for us. He was such a good example to me of love, hard work, a good attitude and love for the gospel. I will miss him so much but I am glad to know that he is finally with his sweetheart again. I wish so much that I could’ve seen their reunion. We buried him next to her on a perfect day. It was cold but everything was covered in a beautiful blanket of snow. There was a light snowfall and everything was quiet. As I gathered with all my family to remember him I just kept thinking, “You know, we’re going to be okay. We are strong and always take care of each other.” I truly believe that we will stay just as close even though we’ve lost a wonderful patriarch.

New York
I met up with my mom, Codi and Jentry for a last minute weekend getaway in NYC for the Downton Abbey Exhibition!! It was so fun and so cold! It was a nice change and I came home feeling refreshed. We went to lots of tourist sites as it was Jentry's first time, ate lots of delicious food, went to the temple and did baptisms and drank tons of hot chocolate. Top of the Rock is a much better view than the empire state building. My favorite parts of the trip ended up being the 9/11 Memorial museum and the carriage ride around central park, which was surprising to me! We spent 3 hours in the museum and when we came out it was dark and mom didn't have her coat! I love these ladies!
Christmas 2017
Christmas was a whirlwind so here comes a huge photo dump! The best part about Christmas this year was having Chloe and Justin here with Madi and I. Other highlights include the twins first ballet recital, class parties, the Allen nativity and finding all the reindeer at Enchant Christmas,
