Swimming Lessons

I completely forgot to post about our swim lessons! We had a blast! The babies learned a ton. I think we are almost ready for round 2! Here are some videos of Weslie and what she learned (including holding her breath under water!) and also just having fun!

This is what we do...

All day long....

We practice standing while holding on to tables. I practice with Wes and try to help her crawl everyday but she just doesn't want to do it. She is only interested in standing and walking and she can't even pull herself up to the table! She has got wayyyy too much energy and is so eager to start moving around but has no way to do it. We've been going swimming several times a week just to get out some energy. Poor girl :(

Happy Father's Day

First off-Happy Father's Day to my wonderful dad who was out of town over the weekend. You are always giving, making us smile with your goofiness and being the best dad/grandpa we ever could've imagined. We are so lucky to have you in our lives. We love you and appreciate you, especially me (JB).

Second- HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO KEVIN.
Kevin you are the best dad in the world. You would do anything for Weslie. I am so glad that she will always have you. We are 2 lucky girls. Yesterday was a perfect day spent swimming and playing. We love it when dad is home to play with us.

Happy Saturday!

We love having dad home on the weekends so we can all play! Today we went to Mckinney days to see all the babies. It's been a year since we lost Aspen and we're in the market for another baby (and by baby I mean a maltipoo puppy). Most important we wanted to see if Wes would be comfortable with a puppy. It went a little like this...

I see a little pup in our future very soon.

8 Months

Last week Weslie hit 8 months. She is around 19 lbs 30 in. She loves her juice, snuggling, inspecting new things, playing with my phone, and much more! She learned how to wave her hand last week and she loves to constantly wave to us. She has 8 teeth and there are 2 more on the way! As much as she loves spending time with us and having our undivided attention, she is always perfectly fine being self entertained. With all the painting and moving the last few weeks I am so glad she is! Today is laundry day so we are just hanging out in our PJ's, working on crawling, cleaning and thinking about what to make for dinner. I've been so stressed out and busy lately that we haven't had too many adventures. I am looking forward to getting out in the sun this week and hopefully hitting the pool and practicing what Wes learned at swim lessons.
Wes rocks the big girl car seat these days

She likes the new furniture just as much as we do

We just had to.

Painting our new room
It has been an interesting few weeks but we are finally all moved in and settled. It is so nice to have our own space and all our old things again. Our stuff has been in storage for so long it was like Christmas for us when we were unpacking. Weslie has adjusted just fine to the new place and she finally has her own room. I can't wait to make many memories here with her for the next couple years. Yesterday we went to our new ward and it looks like we will really like it there. There's lots of young couples and we are excited to make new friends. Here's a glance at the new place:

Here's our bedroom. We got spoiled with a brand new bedroom set. The giant mirror is my favorite.

Bathroom and big closet:

Weslie's room and bathroom. She even has her own little toothbrush holder, too cute!

The spare bedroom upstairs will eventually be an office, right now it's just holding all our junk

Living room, kitchen, downstairs bath

My picture wall in the living room is still in progress but I like it. (I stole the idea from my sister in law Erinn, she always has cute ideas)

Last but not least-my new washer and dryer. I just had to throw them on here because they are awesome! They can hold so much!!
