Mommy and Me

I love taking Weslie to do fun things and watching her expressions while she tries new things. This week we went on a special mommy daughter date to the splash pad! It was a blast!

Wes loved splashing around. There were two adorable little girls there that wanted to play with her and Wes just giggled and smiled at them the whole time. What a social butterfly!

We ended a perfect day by sharing an ice cream cone :) I love this cutie.

10.5 Months update

Wes had her hair curled for the first time.

 It wasn't quite as cute as we expected. I guess her hair is still too thin. It looks like she could be part of the lollipop guild in Oz. Cutest munchkin ever though!

Besides getting her hair curled there have been lots of new things this month: First candy, learned to stomp her foot, figured out how to turn the TV on and off, pooped in the bath, sucked through a real straw, figured out that if she goes after the cat food at grandma's she'll get attention- Wes it's NOT a game!! Oh yeah....

AND WESLIE TOOK HER FIRST STEPS THIS WEEK!

As exciting as it was...I teared up a little when she did it. Baby's first steps are like the last major mile marker for babies. I can't believe she's almost a year. It has gone too fast!

10 Months

This little girl is a moving machine. She claps, loves flinging her arms all around, crawling, turning in circles while sitting on her bum and loves tomatoes. She just learned how to pull herself up so now all she wants to do is travel around. It is so fun to watch her and see where she decides to go and what interests her. She is about 30 in. still and about 22 lbs.

This is the very first outfit Kevin and I bought her right after we found out that we were having a sweet girl. I can't believe she is big enough that it already fits her.
