Goodbye Utah

I am so proud of Kevin for graduating! When we first got married it felt like this day would never come and we would be living the poor married student life forever. Now I feel like it has come all to soon and this move has crept up on us. Now our worries and responsibilities have shifted from student life to the real world. While I've been packing the past week I had a lot of time to reflect on our time here in Utah and what we are leaving behind. We have been so lucky to have made so many good friends here and to have so much time with family. We have lots of memories here from dating, becoming newlyweds, facing our first trials together and eventually adding a little one to our family. Up until a few months ago I would've told you that Texas was my home and that I couldn't wait for our family to move there. However, I realized that isn't really true at all. I'm excited to move but it doesn't really feel like my home anymore. My family is my home and Utah is where we have always been together so really, it's Utah that has felt like home to me for the past few years. Leaving is definitely bittersweet. We will miss all of our friends but it will be good for our family to learn and grow by taking this new big step together.
Our favorite couple to hangout with and their sweet little girl!

Weslie will miss her first baby friend.
Wes kissing Owen. I think she caught him off guard- his face is hilarious!

Lunch date with Jordan and Dallas!

Me and Staycee and the kiddos. We've come so far from when we first met!
