Weslie is Two

Weslie loves showing off new words that she learns. My personal favorites at the moment are, "Let's buh-bye." and (In what sounds to me like an Indian accent) "Ba-nun" which means balloon in Weslie. She loves jumping. She knows the way to Grammy's house and if we start on that route and then take a different turn she gets very upset. She says, "Please," "Thank You" and "I'm Sorry" in the sweetest little voice. Her favorite days consist of going out, getting worn out, and snuggling in mommy and daddy's bed. She likes exercising her independence when she can and I try my best to let her help do new tasks. She knows how to work everyone over. She knows how to sweet talk us and if she's tired and feeling lazy she can usually get someone to give in and feed her so she doesn't have to work on her eating skills. She knows how to sneak a swig of diet coke from grandma and that all she has to do is ask for candy to get some from her. Sometimes we let her think she's in control, but it's important to pick your battles, right? She is a very good eater and must be growing because she has been eating lots and lots lately. Weslie makes us laugh everyday. Even on the hard days we usually end the day in a truce and snuggle. My days on bed rest without her were extra boring. I love that little snoops and so does her daddy. Her personality keeps blossoming each month. She is a tender, fun-loving girly girl. We have been so blessed to have had her in our lives the last 2 years, more than we can say.
